5/8/2010 Professional pictures

It is that time of year where I get "professional" pictures of the kids. So we popped over to Sears, and had them take some photo's.
Mircea and Casper are wearing sailor outfits that our wonderful Elder's wife, June, made for them.

2/7/2010 A case of Whodunnit?!

Well, Mircea says Casper did it. . . and well, Casper doesn't say anything at all. . . but given the location of the drawing. . . . . . . . . . . I believe it was Colonol Mustard in the Billiards Room with the Candlestick!

2/5/2010 Donating a Truck

We have had a pickup truck sitting in our driveway for a while now (and it doesn't drive). We decided to donate the truck, and today they picked it up! Cea and Casper really enjoyed watching the tow truck. I enjoyed seeing our driveway empty!

It was fun to see the kids play so well today! As Casper grows they are able to do more and more the same things. They definitely had fun drawing pictures together!--(when they weren't arguing over the same crayon, or crossing "the line" with their feet-grin!)

an old rocking chair

Casper and Cea had their pictures taken in my Grandpa's old rocking chair (my mom's dad). I thought they looked very sweet!

Making Jerky

Bryan made some homemade Jerky from his venison. He cut up a roast, seasoned it and put it in the oven for a long time. It was declared delicious by the whole family

Mircea and Casper at the pumpkin patch

While I was with Katie and Matt and Naomi for Naomi's birth, Casper and Mircea spent the day with Grandma and Grandpa. They took them to the pumpkin patch for fun and for fall pictures with the pumpkins.

Casper desparately wants to ride a trike

Feeding time at the zoo--umm I mean our house!
Thursday May 21st
Casper still doesn't eat baby food--but this was another attempt at seeing if he would be interested. . . He had a lot of help with feeding--which meant there was a bit of clean up to do!

okay, now focus "I'm one with the spoon, I'm one with the spoon"
Chomp!
Hey, I wasn't finished, give that back!
Smack, Slurp, Smack, Slurp
Crash!
(that was Cea,
she put the lid on the jar,
then took it off,
and had this unfortunate thing happen)
Okay, no one move while mom gets the paper towel roll
This means I put the camera down, and no more pics were taken!
Oh well, we all stayed happy through it all--that's what counts
