WAHOOEY! There are 4 fish

For all of you worried about our fish situation, it is looking positive today!! Bryan just came home from his 2 days in Canada--it is 4:30pm. Things were looking VERY grim last night, as you can tell by my blog post--but today I am seeing 4 fish, and they are getting their color back, and they were excited when they got fed. PHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So life is happy in our house.
I don't see any reason for anyone reading this to mention the previous post/story to Bry! Grin! I suppose I should feel guilty about asking people to lie--but in all honesty (snicker) I would do the same thing all over again, if I had too.

On another positive note--Bry bought Cea and Casper t-shirts, and also brought back a hockey puck for Cea.

Anyway, Hooray for 4 fish! and Hooray for the responsibility of the fish switching back to Bryan.

Actually, the one positive aspect of the fish dieing is that Cea is learning to count backwards! *snicker* 6 5 4 . . . (she would even hold up 6 fingers, then 5, then 4 . . .)

Thursday, April 2nd

Well, I am a little back logged for all the things that have happened around here. This happened Thursday.
Here are matching sailor outfits for Cea and Casper made by June. I think they look extremely cute--don't worry, I plan to get better pics next time they are in them! Align CenterGinny and her kids and Beth and her kids came to our house to hang out after the funeral we all attended that morning.
It was the normal chaos! Of course I didn't have my camera out enough--but we captured the cutest moment: Alex had gotten sick in Beth's van, so Ginny wanted to give him a bath. Well, as you can see, all the kids had to watch. Then, of course, it looked like so much fun, they all had to get in.
Later that evening, Grandma, Grandpa and Troy joined us, and we had pizza for dinner (with salad--if anyone is concerned about our health! grin).

Aren't they cute!

This was suppose to be a picture, but it was on video setting
Joe really likes Casper
As normal, it was positively impossible to get a good pic, so I settled for a normal one. :)
Samantha holding Casper (he was a hot commodity)
Friends/cousins or should we call them twins, as they are less than a month apart in age.
3 laughing goofy cousins! It is fun to see them together! They love to chase each other.
Every one in the bathroom watching Alex take a bath
Rub a dub dub 3 kids in a tubAlex--who was suppose to be in the tub
Now there are 4 (Danny was eating in the kitchen and Casper was sleeping)
They were quite the artists with the tub crayons.
Thank you Beth for scrubbing the tub afterward!

Thought it was cute that Joe wore a head band just like the girls!

Visiting Kid Quest Museum

Today we went to the Kid Quest Museum up in Factoria. It was a lot of fun. So much to see, so much to do! I don't know who were more intrigued, the kids or the adults. The people who went: Grandma Carol, Brent, Laureen, Lindi, Tian, Porsche, Mircea, and Casper. Mircea and Tian got along rather well--they are both about the same size, but he is a bit younger. They played together this morning, and we only had a couple sharing and shoving issues. It was good to see them play so well!
Here are some of the pics.

Inside the big truck (Tian is driving)
Tian really liked the truck!
Mircea's turn to drive
Grandma Carol playing the drums (w/Cea)

Brent and Tian check out those gas prices! YIKES!
Tian putting gas in the truck!

Brent (well his back) Laureen and Lindi
more cool music stuff to play
The drummers
bang bang bang bang
This was a NEW cool exhibit. You pushed scarves into these areas and the shot around in the tubes--kinda like those tubes they use in the drive through of banks! It was sooo neat! The kids loved it. They would crane their necks to watch as the scarves went through the loops of tubing.
Cea shoving in a scarf
Tian pushing in his scarff
You cover the ends of the tubes and it makes different tones

Mircea in a Corvette
Tian's turn (I gave up in trying to have them look at the camera--cuz they never did! grin)
Climbing on some weird jungle gym thing that had a little slide.
HE LOVED THE TRAINS! CHOO CHOO

Laureen playing the water instruments
Playing in the water--I think it is funny they are so serious in this pic.
playing with boats and water

painting with water
I explained how the brushes are NOT to go in her mouth! sigh! :)
Plastic balls, water, a current, how cool!
Climbing in the tree house.
(I definitely knew she had grown, as she could reach each of the ladder steps to hoist herself up.)
Porsche/Casper and Laureen/Lindi

Fish update/countdown CRINGE

ummmmm. . . so, I am only seeing 3 active(ish) fish in our tank that should have 4 fish. . . and as I am the one responsible for the tank today while Bryan is gone--GULP! Not to mention that the color is bad on the 3 I do see! Unfortunately, I do believe it is considered impossible to pretend that there are 4 fish when there are only 3 fish--especially since he is an engineer--and can do complicated Math--including knowing the difference between 3 and 4! aaaaargh!!! Hmmmm both my sisters were here today with their kids--maybe I will tell him that one of their kids must have eaten one?!?! I mean that does sound plausible--kids will eat anything! Yes, I think that is what I will say! So if anyone is reading my blog--please don't tell Bryan about the missing fish--OR just back me up on my story about my sisters kids! (uhhhh, try not to mention this to my sisters either!)
or we can just hope, that because I am NOT an engineer, that my counting is off! (I am guessing #4 is hiding/dieing inside the little sculpture thing.)
. . . in reality it looks like we should soon have more offerings for the porcelain god.

Caspers blanket

Casper has a cousin named Kip. Kip is his oldest cousin. Kip did something really special for Casper--He made him a blanket for his bed! It is a quilt that Kip picked out the material for and sewed together. We all think it is awesome! THANK YOU KIP!!!!!

Car Seats

Casper is one HEAVY dude! So he has graduated from the car seat you lug around everywhere to the car seat that stays in the car.
He was SOOOOO proud to sit in his new car seat. You could just see him thinking, "I am such a big boy!" He cooed all the way home. When we got home, he was still sitting there beaming! Then. . . he spit up all over the new seat! sigh!

Casper in his old seat!

Mircea is already an expert on car seats
Look at the big boy!!!

are we on a countdown?

So I have been thinking about starting a count down regariding our fish! grin! --as we lost another one! However, we are hoping/thinking this will be the last one--as they were the ones looking the worst when we brought them home. We shall see. . . .
