A day with Samantha and Alex

October 27, 2009 Tuesday
Today we had my sister Ginny's 2 kids over for the day while she went to the spa. Dad came over to "help" babysit--but we all know that just means one more "kid" to watch! snicker!
It was a busy and fun day! We will have to do it again!

Ikea Trip with Aunt Beth, Joe and Danny

September 18th Friday
We met up with Aunt Beth, Joe and Danny at Ikea today. The whole plan was this: Mircea was going to spend the weekend with Joe at his house, and so we would meet up at Ikea, let them play in the balls a bit, eat, then go to Grandma's, and then Cea would be off to stay with Joe for the rest of the weekend--they planned to go to "Vertical Ranch" for Saturday, and then meeting on Sunday, we would meet up for lunch, go to Gospel meeting and then home.
It was a fun day at the store:

July 27th
Ginny, Samantha and Alex come over for a play date. We go outside where it is hot, and the yard is a bit of a jungle!

At the Water Park and then after Bible Study

July 22nd Wednesday
We went to the water park for music and water. Of course, I missed it all, as I realized I had left uncooked chicken on the counter at home and had to go back to it and throw it in the casserole. Thank you Carol for watching my kids. They had a blast!
Then, after Bible study we met Sean, Marina, Dakota and Evelyn at Dairy Queen for an ice cream treat. I'm beginning to think our kids are spoiled rotten! :)

July 16th
We went on a playdate with Megan and Ellia. This cute little park is near their house. It is great! Thanks for also feeding us lunch!

Playdate with Sophia

June 16th Tuesday

Well, we had Sophia (one of Cea's friends that is NOT invisible) over today. We had a great time. She said she wanted to come over again! :)
As you shall see, there was never a dull moment! . . .

Sophia doesn't like tea, so we had chocolate milk instead.
(Mircea had made Brownies that morning in anticipation of Sophia coming over! Oh, and when I say "made", I mean, she is in charge of telling me the ingredients we need for the brownies and dumping them in (except I do the eggs), then she turns the mixer on, and then she helps scrape/lick the bowl.)

Then Darren came and picked up Sophia and Mircea headed off to swim lessons.

Playdate with Joe and Danny

June 4th Thursday

We had a play date today with Joe and Danny. It was a beautiful day out, so it was a great day! First they played a little inside and had a tea party and snack. Then they headed outside (with a bunch of sunscreen on) to "swim" and play on the play set.

Beth and I chatted and drank iced tea. (Well, and I ran up and down the stairs adding hot water to the pool!)
