Polly's Marathon

Saturday, June 27th
Well Polly went and ran a FULL marathon today. It was the Rock N Roll Marathon of Seattle. They started in Tukwila, they even ran over the floating Lake Washington Bridge and ended at Qwest field in Seattle. She ran it in a 4:24:57. We decided to go see her at the finish line. She did a great job! We are very proud of her! I believe her plan now is to focus on her new fitness center business.
WAY TO GO POLLY!!!!

Mircea and Bryan watching the runners pass by at the finish line.
We are standing on the FULL marathon side.

The girl in the middle with the pink hat, pink shirt and black spandex shorts is Polly.
She is running down the ramp we can see from the finish line and heading to the turn that leads to the finish line.

Here she comes!
Faster Polly Faster!!!!!
(ummmm why is she smiling?!?!?!?!)
The big hug!
Brad is rather proud!

Did I mention he is proud of her?!?!

She should be proud too!

Now that she has run 26 miles, Brad gets to carry her!
Casper hanging out. He has no clue what is going on.

We went to PF Chang's for lunch with Polly's parents, her sister and her niece Katy.
This is Brad holding Mircea and Katy. Katy and Mircea are the same age. They seem to get along rather well!

Oh Wow...I am soooo impressed. I cannot imagine running that sort of distance. Tell her I am proud of her, too. How she got named Polly, I don't know, but anyway, I figured out who Polly was when I came to the pictures of Bradley!! :)

She got the name Polly because Brad would call her "Polly-Esther". We like the name Polly--and it works great for the kids to call her Aunt Polly, as it is so easy to say.
